This is our last day in California :-( Our flight is early at 8am so we are driving back to L.A. tonight. I'm going to miss this beautiful weather, the majestic mountains, and the gorgeous flowers. We said goodbye to my aunt and uncle and left Palm Springs. I will never forget this trip. I cannot believe how much I fell in love with California. However I'm not looking forward to this 3 hour car trip right now. I'll let you know how it goes.

We just arrived in Hollywood! I cannot believe my eyes we are actaully here! We saw the famous Hollywood sign from the road and it was just like in the movies. Chase and I arrived at Hollywood Blvd and decided to get out and take a stroll down the walk of stars. I couldn't believe how many celebrities have made it to this famous road. I took a picture of Kermit the Frog as a keepsake! I hope one day my name will make the walk of stars. I'll be back soon Cali!

Today was yet another fabulous day in California. Chase and I made the trek to Temecula, CA to visit the wine capital. It was the most gorgeous drive I have ever seen. There was nothing on the road except for these beautiful rolling hills. The roads were quite narrow and made me a little nervous, but luckily Chase didn't mind being the token driver. We stopped at this adorable little hole-in-the-wall diner and had the best cheeseburger I think I have ever tasted in my life!

When we arrived at Callaway Vineyards the view was absolutely spectacular! We took a tour around the vineyard and learned some really interesting facts about wine. Did you know that red and white wines are fermented completely different to achieve a different color? I had no idea! After the tour was over Chase and I took part in a wine tasting. We tried all different kinds of wine and had an absolute ball! I ended up buying a merlot that was my favorite. I think we shall drink it tonight in celebration of such an incredible day!

Today I became completely starstruck. When we woke up this morning I got a call from my aunt who said there was a celebrity tennis match going on today and that we were going to get in! This experience was absolutely magical. When we arrived at the beautiful tennis courts we saw Gavin Rossdale (lead singer of Bush), Gwen Stefani, and Michael Vartan (Alias, Monster in law). I couldn't believe my eyes. Never have I ever been surrounded by so many famous and beautiful people!

After the tennis match we all decided to go out to dinner. My uncle had gotten off from work and we went to this beautiful restaurant called Ernie's. My uncle had taken part in rennovating it and it showed. I had delicious fish and chips that was cooked to perfection! After dinner my uncle got us into Gavin Rossdale's private concert! It was in this lavish ballroom and we were front row! I really don't think I'm ever going to leave this place.

I cannot believe my eyes. This place is absolutely beautiful! When we arrived in the resort last night we simply could not believe our eyes! La quinta is absolutely beautiful! We are staying in a "casita" which is spanish for "cottage". I believe I have just died and gone to heaven. My uncle is the general manager of this resort and we are truly getting the star treatment! This bathroom is bigger than my apartment in Athens; it's unreal. 

Today we met up with my aunt Dana and 10 year old cousin Langley. We sat by the resort pool and drank Pina Coladas. I have such a rough life, really. Every minute I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. The weather is absolutely perfect. We are surrounded by these beautiful pink flowers all over the resort. From every angle the Sierra Nevada mountains engulf us with their majestic and powerful precense. I love California!

We have arrived! So this is my blog in which I will be documenting all of my adventures about my first trip to California! I am so excited to be here I can't even stand it. I'm currently in a car with my boyfriend Chase as we make our way from the LAX airport to Palm Springs! We are staying at La Quinta Resort and spa. Apparently it is a four star resort by the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's supposed to beautiful and I absolutely cannot wait to see it! Any California experience suggestions?

We are currently stuck in L.A. traffic which could quite possibly be the worst traffic I have ever seen in my life. We have been in bumper to bumper traffic for about two hours now. I think I'm going to start crying! We should be there shortly, and I cannot get there fast enough! I will let you know what our room is like as soon as we find it! Let me know if you have any Cali hotel suggestions!
